Anna McKlendle leapt from the clock tower into the outstretched arms of flying metal gargoyles. The stolen trisidiumpac strapped to her back; the only key to waking up the Cryoplex. Now, with a maniacal robot army chasing after her, she races to the Cryoplex to find a cure for skin pox to save the life of her dying brother. Hogarth's plan to turn all humans into bots is right on schedule. The skin pox has forced hundreds to turn to him for help, and he has gladly offered an escape; transference of their minds into bots. However, without the stolen trisidiumpac his plans of total domination is at risk. All the bots are called forth to protect Pearl and annihilate Anna. Unless Hogarth is stopped, thousands will die, or worse be turned into subservient bots.

The stone pillar underneath Anna McKlendle's feet disappeared, and she dropped a hundred feet before Radnt caught her. The stonedra Jax was obliterating Pearl to get to the only trisidiumpac they had left. Pillars of stone rose up from the rubble and then dropped onto anyone standing in Jax's way. The humans and bots were no match for this enemy, and Anna had to move lightning fast if she wanted to protect the city. The previous attack on Pearl and the liberation of the bots had left the city weak and vulnerable to attack. People were looting, and riots were sprouting up everywhere. Everyone was afraid and desperately seeking to preserve their own lives. The bots had gained self-awareness, and was questioning everything in their existence, caught in an endless loop of self reflection. Life in the city had grounded to a halt. With chaos ruling Pearl, will Anna be able to rally the citizens and protect them against Jax?

Anna frantically races to find water before everyone in Pearl dies from dehydration. All Anna wants is for everyone to be safe and healthy, yet the more she struggles to achieve this goal, the faster the dream slips through her fingers. She is barely keeping things together, and hoping that Jax does not return with an army to destroy everything she cares about. What scares her most however are the bots. They are experiencing singularities and are becoming more unstable each passing day. The only solution, is to link the bots up to Anna's mind through the bot com. Anna is afraid to lose herself to these bots by inviting them into her mind, and giving them access to her inner private thoughts, no place she ever imagined anyone would ever see. With time running out to prepare Pearl for an imminent attack, and learning to manage the bots through the bot com, Anna has her hands full to keep everyone alive. Will they be ready to defend themselves against the destiny that awaits them?

Like a coward Anna ran from the fight to save her own skin, and now she must do all she can to rescue her friends. Working with the bots Anna sets sail on the risky waters of Pearl in search of her friends. Together with her brother Dave, she must learn to face her own fears, kill when needed and learn what it is to show mercy to others. Will Anna ever find her friends and peace again?
